Graham Pemberton
Born in: York, England
Main Skills / Strengths: Helping people be the best version of themselves through sport.
Something interesting you have done: I used to be a Tandem Parachute instructor and have completed over 3000 skydives, I hold a Private Pilots Licence and RAAUS Fixed and Flex Wing Licence. Was ranked No6 in the UK at Pentathlon back in the late 80s.
On the sporting side I was the No3 in epee (fencing) in the UK many moons ago and was selected to represent the Army at commonwealth level in the pentathlon.
Achievement: As well as completing many Ironman and 70.3 races it was crossing the line in Cairns 70.3 with my wife Pam after her injury comeback that meant the most to me.
About Me: I love taking part in sport and love supporting people I know,
I have many skills that I use to motivate and keep people positive, I like the train SMART, not HARD approach.
My coaching philosophy is that the athlete and coach need to work together as a team, its a 50 - 50 partnership.
